Home External Environment
Ambient air quality monitoring, microclimate analysis and environmental data infrastructure for outdoor and urban contexts.
Outdoor air quality and microclimate conditions directly affect the environments that buildings and cities are responsible for managing. Construction sites generate particulate and gaseous emissions that are subject to regulatory thresholds. Urban development patterns create heat islands and air quality gradients that affect public health and infrastructure planning. Weather and environmental data, where it exists at all, is often aggregated at a scale too coarse to inform site-level decisions.
FLO2 extends the same sensing and data infrastructure used inside buildings to the external environment, across four distinct application areas.
Each external environment deployment uses the same cloud-based data infrastructure as FLO2's indoor products: continuous sensing, real-time dashboards, configurable threshold alerts and structured data exports for regulatory and ESG submissions. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, LoRa and cellular, suited to sites without fixed network infrastructure.
A scoping assessment identifies the monitoring requirements, applicable regulatory thresholds and data infrastructure options relevant to your context.
A structured site assessment identifies compliance gaps, energy losses and the remediation options available - before your next audit cycle.
